Job Responsibilities:
Develop and execute strategies to onboard and partner with top UK wholesalers and retailers such as Lidl, Tesco, Sainsbury's, Asda, Morrisons, and Aldi, enhancing their offerings with our high-quality fresh produce and CPG goods.
Understand the buying procedures of these key accounts and leverage established brand relationships to secure shelf space in major chain stores. Provide tailored solutions that meet the unique needs and standards of these retailers/wholesalers, enhancing their product offerings and customer experiences.
Take full ownership of the entire sales cycle by leveraging your existing networks and accounts, as well as conducting cold outreach to identify ideal-fit retail/wholesale players.
Lead initial meetings, negotiate and execute contracts, and seamlessly ensure the onboarding stage.
Conduct market research to identify new business opportunities and understand the competitive landscape in the retail/wholesale space with both big and small players in the retail field.
Engage with decision-makers through presentations and negotiations to establish and grow business relationships.
Work closely with the operations, logistics and supply chain teams to ensure timely and satisfactory delivery of products.
Handle customer queries and complaints promptly and professionally, ensuring customer satisfaction through effective problem-solving and follow-up. Additionally, create long-term business partnerships.
Find avenues of technology integration to makethe procurement and supply process seamless with our B2B platform and customer’s internal systems.
Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and product innovations to stay ahead in the industry.
Meet and exceed monthly and annual sales targets set by Dastgyr.
Produce regular performance reports and market insights for the management team.
Maintain a thorough understanding of the industry, seasonality, and business trends/events, and continually monitor competitor/industry developments.
Represent Dastgyr Technologies at industry events, exhibitions, and other promotional opportunities.
Qualifications:
Experience working with large retailers, wholesalers, or key accounts, preferably with a background in placing new products on the shelves of major chains like Lidl, Asda, Tesco, Sainsbury, Co-op, or similar.
A background in B2C marketplaces, cross-border FMCG businesses, or D2C brands that have successfully secured shelf space in major accounts is a strong plus.
At least 10 years of sales or business development experience, with a proven track record in the retail/wholesale space, fresh produce sectors, or consumer goods industries.
Existing contacts and relationships within the retail/wholesale ecosystem are highly valuable.
Exceptional negotiation, communication, and presentation skills, with the ability to influence key decision-makers.
Autonomous, self-motivated worker capable of thriving in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
Proficiency in English is mandatory; additional language skills are a plus.
