About This Role

We're looking for a curious and hands-on Data & Automation Engineer to join our team. This role is ideal for someone who loves writing SQL, building dashboards, and automating repetitive tasks using Python. You'll work closely with operations, finance, and product teams to make internal processes smoother, faster, and smarter.

No complex data infrastructure work — just smart, useful automation and data work that creates real impact.

Key Responsibilities:

• Write and maintain SQL queries for reporting, monitoring, and analysis

• Build and update dashboards in tools like Looker Studio or Metabase

• Write Python scripts to automate manual tasks (e.g. Excel cleanups, bulk reporting, data syncing)

• Identify repetitive processes in teams like Ops or Finance and automate them

• Monitor existing data pipelines on Google Cloud (BigQuery, Datastream)

• Troubleshoot missing data or script issues when needed

• Collaborate across teams to ensure data is accurate, accessible, and useful

Qualifications:

• 1–2 years of experience in a data, automation, or analytics-related role

• Strong skills in SQL and Python

• Experience with Google BigQuery, Google Sheets, and cloud-based workflows

• Familiar with Looker Studio, Metabase, or any other BI/dashboard tool

• Proactive mindset — you enjoy figuring out what’s broken and fixing it

• Ability to work independently and communicate clearly with non-technical teams

• Experience automating reporting workflows using scripts and APIs

• Highly autonomous and self-driven with a strong sense of ownership and the ability to work independently with minimal oversight
