Key Responsibilities:
Monitor and manage the company's cash flow to ensure adequate funds for daily operations.
Perform regular reconciliations of bank accounts and resolve any discrepancies.
Analyse and optimise working capital to enhance financial efficiency.
Implement strategies to manage receivables and payables effectively.
Allocate funds to different business functions based on requirements.
Process payments to vendors and other stakeholders accurately and in a timely manner
Review and verify payment vouchers to ensure compliance with company policies.
Prepare cash flow statements for all banks to provide insights into the company's liquidity position.
Analyse cash flow patterns and recommend actions to optimise cash utilisation.
Generate financial reports and dashboards using the ERP system (preferably Odoo).
Present financial data and insights to relevant stakeholders as required.
Ensure timely and correct data entry to maintain up-to-date financial records.
Familiarity with tax regulations and ensuring appropriate tax deductions from vendor payments.
Ensure compliance with timelines for Withholding tax payments and prepare data for tax consultants on a monthly basis for submission of tax returns.
Address any payment or invoicing discrepancies and resolve vendor-related issues.
Qualifications:
Proficient in using Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) systems, with a preference for Odoo.
Proficient in conducting bank account reconciliations and resolving discrepancies.
Attention to detail and accuracy in financial data management.
Strong understanding of accounting principles and practices.
Meticulous in data entry and payment processing to avoid errors.
Excellent organisational skills to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines.
Prioritise responsibilities effectively to ensure timely completion of tasks.
Familiarity with tax regulations.
Offer innovative solutions to improve efficiency and accuracy in accounting tasks.
Adhere to financial regulations, company policies, and ethical standards.
