Key Responsibilities:

  • Process vendor invoices accurately and in a timely manner, ensuring compliance with company policies.

  • Verify invoices against purchase orders and contracts to ensure proper authorization.

  • Reconcile supplier statements and resolve any discrepancies in a proactive manner.

  • Prepare and process payments to vendors, ensuring timely disbursements.

  • Track outstanding payables, ensuring accurate reporting and forecasting of company liabilities.

  • Assist in cash flow management, ensuring payable obligations are met while maintaining optimal liquidity.

  • Ensure correct tax deductions (Withholding Tax) on vendor payments and assist in tax compliance.

  • Collaborate with internal teams (Finance, Procurement, Operations) to streamline accounts payable processes.

  • Maintain up-to-date records in the ERP system (preferably Odoo).

  • Support month-end and year-end closing activities, ensuring payables are recorded accurately.

Qualifications:

  • Proficient in using Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) systems, with a preference for Odoo.

  • Highly autonomous with strong attention to detail & accuracy in managing financial data.

  • Understanding of accounts payable principles, tax regulations, and compliance requirements.

  • Proficient in conducting bank account reconciliations and resolving discrepancies.

  • Extremely high attention to detail and accuracy in financial data management.

  • Strong understanding of accounting principles and practices.

  • Meticulous in data entry and payment processing to avoid errors.

  • Excellent organisational skills to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines.

  • Prioritise responsibilities effectively to ensure timely completion of tasks.

  • Familiarity with tax regulations.

  • Offer innovative solutions to improve efficiency and accuracy in accounting tasks.

  • Adhere to financial regulations, company policies, and ethical standards.

  • SQL and Advanced Excel skills are highly preferred.
